He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Bertie Weaver Garland; his wife, Wyvonia Walters Garland; one son, Terry Ray Garland and wife Rachel Ellowise Garland; two brothers, Donnie Garland and David Garland; one great-granddaughter, Kinleigh Jade Snyder.

Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Thursday, April 02, 2015. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
