Born in Comer, GA, he was a son of the late John Henry and Ada Bell Duncan Mitchell. He retired from Pro-Med, served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Abney Memorial Baptist Church.


He was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Gene Mitchell


Honorary escort will be the members of the Tabatha Sunday School class.
