She was born in Shelby June 30, 1887 and was the daughter of George M. and Ann Sarah (Downs) Knapp.
She lived in Ashland most of her life.
She was married to W. Ray Arnold who preceded her in death May 20, 1958.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Earl (Sarah Jane) Lovell of McConnelsville and Mrs D. S. (Margery) Webster of Ashland; two sisters Mrs. D.P. Marble and Mrs. Lucy McDowell of Ashland; and four grandchildren.
She was formerly a member of the First Christian Church.
Graveside funeral service will be held Monday at Ashland Cemetery with Rev. Harry C. Dougherty officiating. Time has not been set.
