Anti-Qing revolutionary. He was formerly known as Hung Kee Yuen (洪其元), and had the courtesy name Hung Cheun Fui (洪春魁). When he fled to Hong Kong, he changed his name to Hung Chuen Fook (洪全福).
The gravestone was erected in the summer of 1925, and over the decades the characters on it became obscured by a coating of grime until its rediscovery in 2004.
