The first remains from the wreckage were recovered by the Navy in September 1966, were interred at Arlington in a group grave at Section 46 Site 754 on October 17th of that year, along with two others whose remains were identified and two unidentified sets of remains.
Over the years Kronborg glacier has yielded more wreckage from the crash, and more human remains, which have been identified using modern forensic science. On November 16, 2011, those remains were buried at the group site.
In November 2012 the original grave stone at site 754 was replaced with a new one which bears the names of all twelve crew members:
AT2 Robert A. Anderson
LT John Augustus Brown
LTJG Anthony Francis Caswick
AD2 Robert Earl Hurst
CMDR Norbert John Kozak
LTJG Michael Patrick Leahy
ATN3 Alan Patrick Millette
ADR3 Frank E. Parker
AEAN Joseph William Renneberg
AT2 Norman R Russell, Jr
LT Badger Conley Smith III
AO3 Grover Eugene "Rusty" Wells
