Leslie Burke of Sparks, NV. passed away March 13 after a brief illness. She was born July 24, 1970 in Pocatello, Idaho. She came to Nevada in 1975. Leslie graduated from Sparks High School and got her Floral License from Truckee Meadows Community College. She worked for Burke's Drug & Floral for 5 years and Scolaris Food & Drug for 18 years. Leslie enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and loved spending time with her family and many friends. She is survived by her parents Herb & Raynell Burke and sister Robbin Burke, numerous nieces & nephews as well as many friends. Leslie was preceded in death by two siblings: Curtis Ray Burke and Guy Rance Burke. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Mausoleum 2700 N. Virginia, with a gathering being held afterwards at 3870 Isle Skye, Sparks, Nevada. The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Humane Society.
