SOMERS, Conn. -- Longin Sonski, 84, of School Street, Somersville, died Sunday in Johnson Memorial Hospital. Born in Lithuania, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Sonski, and had resided in town for the past 50 years. He was employed by the Somersville Manufacturing Co. for many years, and was a member of St. George Lithuania Society and All Saints Church. Besides his wife, Antonia (Margielute) Sonski, he leaves four sons, Longin J. and Peter A. both of Somersville and Alex B. and Albin of Bloomfield; two daughters, Mrs. Leona Steaklum of Boston, Mass., and Mrs. Frank Legienza of Enfield; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. at Browne funeral home with a requiem high Mass at 9 in All Saints Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Hazardville. Calling hours at the funeral home are today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
