Edwin William Wright died May 11, 1984 at a local nursing home following an extended illness. He was born March 22, 1906 to George F and Maude Holiday Wright. On Feb 6, 1933, he married Ruth Anderson in Ogden. The marriage was later soleminized in the Salt Lake Temple
He had lived in Ogden most of his life and worked for the Ogden Coal and Clay Co., for many years. He had also worked for the Sears Company for many years retiring after 25 years of service.
He was active in the Pioneer Days Celebration committee and was selected as parade Grand Marshal in 1974.
