Ruth Anderson Wright, 72, of 845 21st, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 1985, at McKay-Dee Hospital of diabetes.

She was born June 7, 1913, in Brigham City, a daughter and Adeline Didericksen Anderson.

She married Edwin W. Wright on Feb. 6, 1933, in Ogden. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died on May 13, 1984.

She was a member of the Ogden 31st LDS Ward where she had served as a Sunday School teacher for 20 years, arid had also been a Primary teacher.

She was reared in Thatcher, Utah, graduating from Bear River High School and Seminary.

She lived most of her life in Ogden.

She worked for the J.C. Penney Co. and L.R. Samuels as a sales clerk.

She was a member of the Golden Hours Sing Along and the Ogden, Utah Association for the Blind.

Surviving are two sons, William (Ted) Wright, Ogden; George L. Wright, Layton; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Sharyl) Kincaid, Tempe, Ariz; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother Dr. Burt D. Anderson, Modesto, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Jennie McNeely, Thatcher; and Mrs. Frank (Afton) Simpson, Apache Junction, Ariz.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Leavitt's Chapel of Flowers Mortuary with Bishop Warren N. Shurtleff of the Ogden 31st LDS Ward officiating.

Family will meet friends at the mortuary Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services.

Interment will be in the Ogden City Cemetery.
