Mrs Margaret O'Neill
Margaret Birmingham O'Neill, aged 66, a native of Baltimore, died in the Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa., of burns she sustained at her home, her clothing having become Ignited when she started a gas fire in a grate, at an early hour. The barking of a dog, a household pet, aroused other members of the family to find Mrs O'Neill fatally burned and the room on fire. The flames were quickly subdued. Mrs O'Neill was the widow of Edward O'Neill, who died about seven years ago. The family moved to Washington from Cumberland, about 30 years ago. She was a daughter of the late Daniel and Ellen Birmingham. She is survived by two sons and three daughters, also one sister, Miss Catherine Birmingham, Cumberland, and Daniel Birmingham, Pittsburgh, and John Birmingham, Cumberland. The funeral was held Monday morning at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Washington, Pa.
