The Rev. Alfred Yungschlager, pastor of the church, had charge of the services, which were directed by the Baumgarten Funeral Home.
The women's choir of the church sang "In the Garden," and Mrs. Phillip Jordan sang "The Twenty-third Psalm." Mrs. Manley Abrahamson was organist and accompanied the singers. Pallbearers were Ed Reimers, M. L. Vaughn, Ed Wolter, George Kummerfeldt, Wayne Hagge and Albert Burmeister.
Mrs. Harry Riebesell and Mrs. Otto Jipp took care of the flowers. Members of Abiff Lodge, A. F. & A. M., of Sutherland attended the services in a body. Interment was in Liberty township cemetery at Calumet.
Mr. Boldt, who was 56 years old, had spent his entire life in the Calumet community, and was active in its affairs, having served as mayor of the town, as a member of the town council and board of education. He took an active part in the church and Sunday school; and was also a member of the Masonic lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Nora, two sons, Wesley of Chicago, and Burleigh of Sioux City, a sister, Miss Irene Boldt, of Chicago; a brother Alfred of Larrabee and many other relatives.
