Jackie Walyn “Jack” Hale, 82 of Andrews passed away early Thursday, march 26, 2015 at his home in Andrews.

Jack was born July 29, 1932 in Sweetwater, Texas to Bud and Myrtle Hale. He served in the US Air Force from 1952-1956. He married Lavada Brunson June 23, 1956 in Longworth, Texas.

They made their home in Texas City for a number of years where Jack worked as a funeral director and farmer. He also owned a feed store and ran cattle. In 1979 they moved to Andrews from Texas City. In 2010 Lavada preceded him in death.

Jack loved playing golf with his buddies and he ejoyed being a part of Christian Builders. He was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Andrews. Jack was a member of the masonic lodge, Andrews lions club and was a member of the Shriners for over 50 years.
