FULTON – Lucky Lee Brassfield, 58, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born April 19, 1956, in Houston to Rex and Bertha Clemon Brassfield. He was a member of the Independent Baptist Church in the Pratts-Kirkville area where he enjoyed men's brotherhood. He worked at Krueger Metal for many years before becoming disabled. He was an avid hunter and member of the James Creek South Hunting Club. He enjoyed auctions, yard sales, and sale barns and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Toby Mears officiating. Burial will be in the Walton Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Geraldine Brassfield; two sons, Tim Gillespie (Kelsey) of Tremont and Steven Gillespie of Fulton; two daughters, Kim Thomas (Ron) and Kristie Gillespie (Brian), both of Fulton; two brothers, Stevie Brassfield of Houston and David Brassfield of Houlka; five sisters, Virginia Gregory of Pontotoc, Wanda Ackson (Scott) and Carolyn Gann, both of Houston, Jo Cross of Houlka and Catherine Hughes (Tom) of Woodland; 14 grandchildren, Morgan, Grace, Paige, Olivia, Nik and Lannley Gillespie; Jennifer Stewart; Shauna Guy; Carrie Thomas; Mikey Dunn; Kristen Eaton; CJ Valentine; Hailey Riddle; and Trinity Valentine; five great-grandchildren, AP Pennington, Drew Smith, and Zac, Colie, and Kacin Guy; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John, Little Rickey and Gary Brassfield; one sister, Janice Brassfield; and one great-grandchild, Tanner Thomas.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Griffin, Eddie Williams, Jr. Hutcheson, Andy Carter, Adam Rowlett and Brandon Hughes.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
