Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, his maternal grandparents, George and Dorothy Meck Jr., and his paternal grandmother, Barbara Gordon, all of Middletown; his paternal great-grandfather, James E. Kreiser of Royalton; and his maternal great-grandparents, George and Myrtle Meck Sr. of Harrisburg.
