Sharon graduated from Higgins Classical Institute, class of 1966.
On December 19, 1969, she married Richard Wilcox. Together they raised their family in Kenduskeag.
After her children were grown she went back to school, attending the University of Maine. She received her Associates of Science Degree in Animal Med Tech in 1989, and another Associates of Science in Business Management in 1991. She proudly made the Dean's List. Later, she and her husband moved to Lakeland, Florida where they have been enjoying retirement.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Richard; sons, Chris Wilcox and Richard Wilcox II, both of Kenduskeag, and son, Jim Hornbrook and wife, Kristen, of Hermon; and 2 grandchildren, Ryan and Jessica Hornbrook of Hermon.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was predeceased by her brother, Patrick Bell.
Interment will be in the Kenduskeag Village Cemetery in the spring.
