Hughes, Catherine, 83, entered into eternal rest on March 24, 2015. She was a loving and caring person who would go above and beyond to help someone in their time of need. Known for her smile and her happy disposition, Catherine was always singing. She retired from St. Anthony's Hospital after many years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stella Berger and Ealon "Red" Ferguson; son, Jimmy Hughes; twin sister, Christine Schuetter; brother, Charles Ferguson; and former husband, Jim Hughes. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Lynn Marquis, Vickie Galus (John), Kenny Hughes (Debbie), Harold Hughes (Theresa), and Paula King (Charles); 10 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 3 great, great grandchildren; brother, James Ferguson; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00-8:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral home. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday at noon at the funeral Home. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery immediately following the service.
