Charles Leo Ferguson age 80 of Beechmont was born July 29, 1934 to the late Ealon Enrick "Red" and Stella Edna Humphry Ferguson and returned to his Heavenly Father August 13, 2014. Mr. Ferguson was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, a veteran of the Korean war serving with the U.S. Marines and a retired truck driver for the U.S. Postal Service.
Among those who preceded him in death include his sister, Christine Schuetter and his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Theresa Stinson, Edna Kiper and Shannon Ferguson; sons, Terry and Eric Ferguson; sister, Catherine Hughes; brother, James Ferguson; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be held 7:30 P.M. Monday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks (Preston Highway at Brooks Road and use John Harper entrance) with interment in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central 10 A.M. Tuesday. Friends may pay their respects from 4:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Monday at Schoppenhorst.
