Urban was survived by his children: Joe Bustos of Belen, Jessica Bustos (companion Brian Trujillo) of Chamita, and Jennie Bustos (companion Adam Mora) of Chilili; granddaughter Zoe Sandoval of Chamita; brothers: Eugene Bustos (wife Teresa) of Albuquerque and Pete (wife Jude) of Los Lunas; sister Nathalie Bustos-Edmonds of Rio Rancho; and many other friends and relatives.
Urban was a religious man, sand painter artist, a great fisherman, a good guitarist and had many other talents. His sand paintings are at the Carrie Tingely Hospital in Albuquerque and at the Smithsonian. He enjoyed spending time with his only son, who lived with him and took care of him during his illness. Urban was a great father.
A Rosary and memorial Mass were on 7 Mar 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh. Burial followed in the Alcalde Cemetery. Pallbearers: Eugene Bustos, Pete Bustos, Brandon Tenorio, Bryan Edmonds, Kevin Romero, and Brian Trujillo.
