Online, I ran across an article on the Queen Street Cemetery, which stated,
#27 ? Girl died March 11, 1895, aged 19 yrs. 4 mons.
Mother died Dec. 14, 1884, age 37 yrs.
The volunteer trying to help me in 2002, took pictures of the gravestone.
It is smashed into several pieces, but has been laid out in order. It shows…..
In memory of Maude, beloved wife of Samuel Abercrombie. Aged 19 yrs. 4 mons.
Also her mother died Dec 14, 1884. Aged 37 yrs.
Jesus called the mother home. Her flesh lies mouldering in the tomb.
God grant her offspring may be blest and meet her in eternal rest.
She also said the grave is recorded by the Genealogical Society
in the Soo Library, but with no last name.
