Barbara was a graduate of Waterville High School, class of 1951, and was employed as a customer service representative for Verizon Telephone.
She enjoyed line dancing, playing cards with her friends, and travelling.
Barbara was a regular at Railroad Square Cinema and was often found at Jorgenson's having coffee with many of her friends. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was especially rewarding to Barbara. She was a member the Telephone Pioneers and was a Ward Clerk for the City of Waterville.
Barbara was a lifelong communicant of Corpus Christi Parish, Waterville.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband Robert Tracy; brothers Robert, Jerome and Louis Audet, sister Bunny Dolloff.
Barbara is survived by three sons, David Tracy of Skowhegan, Mark Tracy and Danielle of Falmouth, James Tracy and Jodie of Sidney; two daughters, Kathleen Plaisted and Bruce of South China, Patricia Goodnow and Allen Bourassa of Winslow; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery later in the spring. Arrangements are under the care of Gallant Funeral Home, 10 Elm St., Waterville.
