Nancy M. Blair, 83 yrs. old, of Lanark passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at her home. She was born on March 15, 1932 at Polo, a daughter of David and Ora (Schlenning) Nicholson. She was a 1949 Graduate of Forreston High School. Nancy and Dale Blair were married on Nov. 2, 1950. She was employed at Brinkmeier's Accounting in Lanark for 25 years. Nancy was an active member of the Lanark United Methodist Church and enjoyed golfing, crafts, and her water garden. Surviving are her husband, Dale, her daughter, Lynne (Vaughn) Hudson of Thornton, CO., her son, Terry (Edie) Blair of Milledgeville, two grandaughters, Demi (Greg) Sturtevant of Milledgeville, and Dani Blair of Lanark,and her sister, Betty (John) Cummings of Reno,NV. Preceding her in death were her parents, her sister, Grace Nation, and her brother, Kenneth Nicholson. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Lanark United Methodist Church with Pastor Rolland Hayag and Rev. Rod Dye officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport. The visitation will be from 9 a.m. on. at the church until the time of service. A Memorial has been established in her memory. Arrangements are being handled by the Russell-Frank Funeral Home.
