She was born on January 29, 1941, to Noel Henry Andrews and Mary Virginia Seuberth Andrews in Batesville, Arkansas. She grew up with her sister Sue, and brother Ken. She was the first grandchild welcomed into the Seuberth and Andrews families.

Virginia graduated from Batesville High School in 1958 and received a bachelor's degree from Ouachita Baptist University in 1963. She spent several years teaching in various locations, including a year in Lanai, Hawaii. She retired from teaching at Wonder Elementary School in West Memphis, Arkansas.

In addition to her extended family members, including several nieces and cousins, she treasured her "church family" at First Baptist Church West Memphis.
