Craig E. Jackson, age 61 of Tazewell, VA died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital at Winston Salem, NC. Born November 30, 1953 at Richlands, VA, he was a son of the late Thomas Edward and Ruth Ann Lockhart Jackson. Craig loved worshiping and serving in church and was an active member of the Tazewell Family Worship Center. He participated in the choir, kitchen, outdoor cookouts, and wherever else he could help the church. He loved truck driving and worked for J&S Transport for over twenty three years. Craig was a loyal and avid WVU fan.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Yost Jackson; two sons, Craig Jackson and wife, Erica of Culloden, WV and Ryan Jackson and wife, Amanda of Madison, WV; one daughter, Rebecca White and husband, Johnny of Cedar Bluff, VA; one step son, Jared Blizzard of Tazewell, VA; three step daughters, Jenica Kiser and husband, Chris of Tazewell, VA, Jessica Shrader and husband, Chris, and Judith Kinder and husband, Jason all of North Tazewell, VA; one brother, Ronnie Stevenson and wife, Janice of Cedar Bluff, VA; one sister, Mitzi Fisher and husband, Sam of Roanoke, VA; fourteen grandchildren; numerous cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Tazewell Family Worship Center in Tazewell, VA with Pastor Don Waddell and Chris Woodard officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Garden in Bluefield, VA. Pallbearers will be Randy Rose, Mike Laney, Steve Mitchem, Wes Davidson, Dennis Hayes, and Chris Woodard. Honorary pallbearers will be Buford Cordle and Keith Tabor.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell, VA.
