Passed away on Saturday March 21, 2015 at Listowel Memorial Hospital. Lucinda resided at R.R. # 1 Newton and was born 61 years ago in Kitchener. Loving daughter of Moses Bauman of Wallenstein and the late Barbara (Wideman) Bauman.
Beloved wife of Melvin Martin who she married December 22, 2000. Dear step-mother of Chad Martin & Marilyn of Milford, Nebraska and Jeff Martin of R.R. # 1 Newton. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Brandon, Marci, Jessica and Erica. Remembered by her brother Elam Bauman & Minerva of Fergus, sisters Louisa Gingrich & Mervin of Wallenstein, Katie Bauman & Murray of Millbank, Rebecca Bauman, Edna Bauman, Anna Bauman, Alice Bauman and Sarah Bauman all of Wallenstein and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ada Schmidt & Paul of Stratford, Amos Martin & Eleanor of Kenabeek, Mary Lebold & Kenneth of Earlton, Martha Bauman & Maynard of Stratford, Elmer Martin & Ruth Ann of Owen Sound, James Martin & Marilyn of Keady and a number of nieces and nephews. Lucinda was predeceased by Melvin’s first wife Margaret Martin (2000).
Lucinda was a member of Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship, Dorking.
Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Monday March 23, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. and again Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 25, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Counrtyside Mennonite Fellowship, Hawkesville. Interment to follow in Hillside Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship Building Fund.
