      Fred C. Hartley, youngest brother of the editor of theTRIBUNE, met a very severe accident on Tuesday evening, by falling from the top of a fence and breaking his left arm near the elbow. Dr. Howes reduced the fracture, which was a very critical one, and the little fellow is quite comfortable. (Brainerd Tribune, 26 June 1880, p. 4, c. 1)
