HAROLD L. SAMPSON

Harold L. Sampson, 33 of Greenwood was electrocuted accidentally Saturday afternoon while engaged in helping his father-in-law, Raymond L. Young at Karr Valley, Allegany county, with well drilling. Both men died instantly.

He was born in Jamestown, June 30, 1909 and spent his youth in that place. In 1921 he came to Greenwood and since that time has been a partner in the well-drilling business with Mr. Young.

He had united in marriage April 24, 1930 to Miss Marjorie Young of Greenwood.

He was a member of the Methodist church of Greenwood.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter Jacqueline aged 11, at home; his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Percy Sampson of Greenwood; 2 sisters, Mrs. Everett Osmin, Greenwood and Mrs. Donovan Shirley of Niagara Falls. 2 brothers, Frederick and Wesley Sampson of Niagara Falls; 3 nieces, several aunts, uncles and cousins and grandmother, Mrs. Matilda Spohr of Buffalo.
