Albert Hubbard Liles, oldest son of John W. and Easter Liles was born April 3, 1875 near Abilene Kansas, and departed this life at the St. Francis Hospital in Grand Island Nebraska, August 1, 1949 at 11 a.m. at the age of 71 years, three months and 28 days.
When he was 16, is parents moved to a farm near Hershey, Nebraska, crossing the plains in a covered wagon. When a young man he attended Barber School at Kansas City, Kansas, graduating in 1902. On March 2, 1905, he was united in marriage to Annie Lewis at Hoisington, Kansas. Five girls were born to this union, two dying in infancy. On October 23, 1918 his wife departed this life to go to her heavenly home, leaving three little girls, Marguerite, Janice and Berniece. On March 26, 1919 he was united in marriage to Kathryn Hahn. Four children, one daughter June and three sons, Junior, Forest, and Marion were born to this union. On August 6, 1933 this marriage was dissoled. In June 1937 he and Myrtle Shrader were united in marriage. He made his home in Cairo since 1942. He was a loving father and husband.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Myrtle of Cairo; his children Junior Liles of Lena, Ill.; Forrest Liles of Saline, Kansas; Marion Liles of Freeport, Ill; Janice Hansen of Mankato, Kansas; Berniece Lewis of Nauvoo, Illinois; June Briggs of Batoul, Germany; nine grandchildren; eight stepchildren. Arthur Shrader of Rock Island, Illinois; George Shrader of Scottsbluff, Nebraska; Ervin Shrader of Casper Wyoming; Earl Shrader of Custer, Montana; Irene Shaw and Bertha Gies of Gering, Nebraska; Fern Graber of of McMinnville, Oregan; and Evelyn Wiexzorek of Bellflower, California; one brother, Elmer Liles of Hershey, Nebraska; two sisters, Elsie Refior of Denver, Colorado and Inis Reams of Ulysses, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother, wife Annie and Daughter, Margurite and sister Addie
