Mrs. Thomas B. Hill

Mrs. Thomas B. (Pauline Michie) Hill, 76, of Jackson, widow of Thomas Bruce Hill, died Monday, August 12, of cancer at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday from Wright & Ferguson Chapel in Jackson with burial in the Lakewood Cemetery in Jackson. Officiating ministers were Dr. Frank Pollard, Rev. Michael O’Brien ad Rev. Tom Hollowell.

Mrs. Hill was born in Vaiden and lived in Jackson since 1953. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, the Friendship Sunday School Class, and also a member of the D.A.R., Magnolia Chapter.

She is survived by three daughters, Jo Hedgepeth of Jacksonville, Florida, Margaret, Holderficld of Jackson, Paula Carlos of Laurel; three sons, Bruce Hill of Lexington, Michie Hill of Cordova, Tennessee, Lloyd Hill of Des Moines, Iowa: one sister, Margaret Hartley of Columbus: sixteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and six nieces.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Allen Bruce Hill, Jr., Jay Homer Hedgepeth, Jr., William Thomas Hill, Thomas Alton Hill, James Michie Hill and Paul Jackson Hill.

Memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society, First Baptist Church of Jackson Building Fund, or the Vaiden Cemetery Fence Fund, Vaiden.
