Albert was the youngest child of Moses C. Craspey and Mary Southward. Albert and Josephine A. Crapsey resided in Lockport from their marriage in 1870 until at least 1894. On 5 May 1870 Albert and Josephine purchased a tract of land. This land, except for parcels previously sold, was sold at a sheriffs auction 14 Sep. 1894. By the 1900 census, Albert, Josephine, their daughter and son-in-law, Francis and Victor Kline, and their son Albert H. were residing in Onondaga, NY. Albert and Josephine were living in Syracuse,NY in 1910
