Ruby A. Wentz, 86, entered into God's eternal care Wednesday, November 1, 2006, at her residence. She was the wife of Quentin G. Wentz to whom she was married 26 years. Born June 28, 1920, in New Oxford, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Beulah (Koontz) Myers.
Mrs. Wentz attended the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren in Spring Grove. Ruby retired from York Casket Company where she worked as a seamstress for many years.
In addition to her husband, Quentin, Ruby is survived by one stepson, Galen Q. Wentz of Hanover; one step granddaughter, Lisa A. Alwine of Hanover; one step great-granddaughter, Jennifer Alwine of Hanover; and three sisters, Mary E. Stremmel and Fredyth Myers, both of Hanover, and Caroline Flickinger of Nashville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Myers; and one sister, Gladys Biddle.
Pastor Robert Yohe and Pastor Fred Miller officiated her funeral. Burial will be in York road Cemetery, Hanover.
