Fredyth Ladora Myers, of Hanover, passed away peacefully July 18, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Clarence Q. Myers, who passed away January 24, 2000.

Born on Sunday, April 29, 1912, in Taneytown, MD, she was a daughter of the late Russell A. and Beulah L. Koontz Myers.

Mrs. Myers was a lifetime member of St. Bartholomews United Church ELCA.

Fredyth enjoyed gardening and spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.

She is survived by her daughter, Ruby A. Bentzel of Hanover; four grandchildren, Debra McManus of Spring Grove, Sherry Diehm and Wendy Benedict, both of Hanover, and Steven Bentzel of Fredrick, MD; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and her sister, Mary Emma Stremmel.

Fredyth was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Myers; and three sisters, Gladys Biddle, Caroline Flickinger, and Ruby Wentz.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., July 22, 2013, at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., Hanover, with Pastor Steven E. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Abbottstown.
