Her formative years were spent in Crawfordsville, Indiana where she graduated from high school in 1949. The following year she attended Olivet Nazarene College and married Donald Edwin Rosen on December 25th 1951. She spent the next 23 years traveling with her husband. The Army sent them to Germany for three years and while there she visited France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. She then lived in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Kansas, California and Hawaii. In 1970 they returned to Indianapolis, IN. She is a member of the Lawrence United Methodist Church.
Now heavenly reunited with her mother (1948) her father (1987); sister, Twylo Fern Coffing (1997) brother in law, Richard Lee Coffing (2013), nephew Royce Allen Coffing (2014) brother in law, Morris Ray Davis (2011), twin grandsons infant Samuel Edwin Cutler and infant unnamed Cutler (1993).
She leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Donald Edwin Rosen; daughters, Lee Anne Rosen Cutler and Linda Kay Rosen Ogle; son in law, Stephen E. Ogle Jr.; grandsons, Nathan Phillip Cutler, Andrew Brian Cutler, Matthew Stephen Ogle; only granddaughter, Mazie Kay Ogle; sister, Norma June Barton Davis (Morris); nieces, Cheryl Rae Davis Hammond (Ed), Brenda Denise , Davis Hassler (George), Shelda Dawn Coffing Pickett (Doyle); nephews, Larry Earl Davis (Jan), and Richard Grant Coffing. She was an avid reader and enjoyed bowling, painting, and caring for her family.
Viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services- Lawrence (5215 North Shadeland Ave). Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Lawrence United Methodist Church (5200 North Shadeland Ave). Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens
