Jordan Christine Long, 17, of Dayton passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 with her best friend Taylor Elaine Michael.

She was born in Harrisonburg on May 28, 1997, a daughter of parents who are still living.

Jordan was doing her junior & senior year together at Turner Ashby High School, where she had a special teacher Ms. Pence, in order to graduate early. She attended Spring Creek Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving in addition to her parents are two brothers, a step sister, three step brothers. She is also survived by granny, Grandma, grandparents, great grandparents, two nieces, and her german shepherd Chevy. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jeffery Cave, and great grandfather, Bill Cave.

A funeral service will be held at the First Assembly of God in Harrisonburg at 3:30 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2015 with Rev. Jeff Ferguson and Pastor Tony Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Briery Branch Church of the Brethren Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater.

They were buried together so they could be buried side by side.
