Jason Scott Morris, 37, of Bridgewater, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at his home.
Jason was born in Richmond on May 25, 1977, and was a son of Paula (Rexrode) Morris, of Mt. Crawford, and the late Stanley Morris.
He worked as a clerk for Mountain Valley Exxon in Mt. Crawford, and was a graduate of Harrisonburg High School.
Jason is also survived by two brothers, Matthew Morris and wife Beth, of Richmond, and Zachary Morris, of Bridgewater; two nieces, Zoe and Katy Morris, of Richmond; a nephew, Zachary Morris, Jr., of Bridgewater; maternal grandparents, Kathryn and Leighton Evans, of New Hope.
In addition to his father, Jason is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Frances Morris, and maternal grandfather, Gayle Rexrode.
A memorial service will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater, with Chaplain Debra Huffman officiating. Burial will be private at Woodbine Cemetery in Harrisonburg.
