Truman H. Hancock, 74, Herndon, died at 1:20 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Grace officiating.
Burial will follow in Flat Lick Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
A native of Christian County, he was born Aug. 31, 1937, he was the son of the late Truman W. and Vesta Bracey Hancock.
He had been a merchandise manager for Montgomery Ward for more than 42 years, was a former member of the Optimist Club and had coached Babe Ruth baseball.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Haley Hancock; one son, Curtis L. Hancock, Herndon; one daughter, Kristi Hancock Osteen, Hopkinsville; two brothers, Glenn Hancock, Hopkinsville and Carvel Hancock, Christian County; one sister, Ethelene Stone, Hopkinsville; five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
