CARPENTER, Leonard Lorell. Was born to Ivan and Ardis Carpenter in Rapid City, South Dakota on August 30, 1929.
Leonard lived a full life, and often shared how he must have done everything a person can do (in the United States). He's shared stories of his serving in the United States Air Force and Coast Guard, being a captain of a yacht, working in the mines of Oregon and finishing out his life doing the work he loved most, that of being a farmer in Greenacres and Springdale Washington.
Leonard passed away in comfort with his family on September 5, 2010. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Springdale Church in Springdale, WA on September 27th, 2010 at 5:00 PM.
