Anita Faye (Hixon) Kleckner, a longtime Cushing resident, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Eastwood Manor in Commerce, Oklahoma at the age of 87. Anita was born on February 26, 1928 in Depew, Oklahoma to the late Elmer and Lena (Adams) Hixon.

She grew up and attended school in Cushing, graduating from Cushing High School in 1946. Anita married the love of her life Homer Farrel Kleckner on May 25, 1946 in Cushing, to this union three children were born. They made their home and raised their family in Cushing. She attended the Episcopal Church. Anita enjoyed playing cards, golfing and square dancing.

Survivors include a son Farrel Kleckner, two daughters, a sister, two brothers, a brother-in-law, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers and sisters-in-law Dennis and Virginia Hixon, Harold Hixon, Dale and Maxine Hixon, sisters and brothers-in-law Dorothy and Lloyd Isbell, Jewel and Ray Goff, Joy and Ken Argo, Carol Boling, brother-in-law Frank Bevins.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing.
