Mrs. Nell Allen, 69, died at 6:30 a.m. today in Magic Plains Nursing Home where she had been a patient since February. Funeral services are pending with Simpson Funeral Home.

She was born in Arkansas in 1896 and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, W.H. Allen, Amarillo; five daughters, Mrs. Clarence Shores of Phillips, Mrs. W.M. Stout, Carnes City, Mrs. Bill Boyd of Hurst, Mrs. Gordon Smith of Rialto, Calif., Mrs. Marvin Conn, Milwaukee, Wis.; three sons, Kenneth and Oren of Hurst, Carroll of Laurens, S.C.; and 17 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Phillips Methodist Church for Mrs. Nell Allen.

A native of Arkansas, Mrs. Allen died Monday morning in Magic Plains Nursing Home. She was 69.

Surviving are her husband, W.H. Allen of Amarillo, daughters Mrs. Clarence Shores of Phillips, Mrs. W.M. Stout of Carnes City, Mrs. Bill Boyd of Hurst, Mrs. Gordon Smith of Rialto, California, Mrs. Marvin Conn of Milwaukee, Wis., and sons Kenneth and Oren of Hurst, Carroll of Lausena, S.C., and 17 grandchildren.

Pall bearers will be D.G. Johnson, Homer Read, V.G. Paxton, Earl Butler, Claude Brown, and Philip Noland.
