Linda had worked in Accounting at American Effrid for 36 years. She loved to read, collect dolls, Hummingbirds, and going to the beach and Gatlinburg. She was a member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church where she sang in the choir.
Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by four brothers, Michael, Darrell, Floyd and Carroll Beane.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Edward Church; her daughter, Robin Michelle Church Huffman and husband Jeff of Lenoir; one brother Randall Beane and wife, Billie of Boone; and two granddaughters, Emily and Lauren Huffman of Lenoir.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, March 16, 2015 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Dr. Clifton Black officiating. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, one hour prior to the service at Evans Funeral Service.
