William I. Feathers, 61, died Friday, May 9, 1997, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.

Born July 7, 1935, in Fayette County, Tenn., to William and Lucille Redd Feathers, he married Patricia Ann Hensley on July 6, 1968, in Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are three brothers, Thomas, Henry, and Edward; and seven sisters, Mary Watkins, Stella Watkins, Linda Dyer, Binnie Tice, Elizabeth Mitchell, Carol Henry, and Beverly Shubert. One brother preceded him in death.

He owned and operated William Feathers Plumbing & Heating in Washington.

He was an Army veteran.

Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
