Rebecca A. "Becky" Garner, age 61, of Bridgeville, DE passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Becky was the daughter of Catherine Allen Lyons and the late, Alvin Phillips Lyons. She graduated from Seaford High School in 1971 and Salisbury State College in 1975. She was a teacher in the Seaford School District for 25 years teaching at West Seaford Elementary and Central Elementary Schools. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church where she had taught Sunday School.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband of 39 years, Steven Thomas Garner, a daughter, Erin Catherine Garner, a son, Brandt Allen Garner, a brother, Wayne A. Lyons, 2 nieces, a nephew and 8 great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be on Monday, March 16th at 11 AM at Wesley United Methodist Church, 22025 Atlanta Rd, Seaford. Friends may call at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Seaford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church Building Fund, 22025 Atlanta Rd, Seaford, DE 19973.
