Denise Deann "D.D." McNeely, age 49, passed away, Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 16, 2015 at Westwood Church in Lubbock with Steve Shaw officiating. A viewing at East Mound Cemetery will be at 2:30 p.m.-2:45 p.m. Graveside will start at 3:00 p.m., at East Mound Cemetery in Matador. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
D.D. was born on August 3, 1965 in Crosbyton to Johnny and Sammie (Porter) Phillips. She married Jerry McNeely on February 12, 1993 in Lubbock. D.D. was a 1984 graduate of Motley County. She worked at Interim Healthcare for over 20 years and loved to work. D.D. was a member of the Westwood Church and a very faithful volunteer to the children ministry. She loved to shop, antiques and anything that was old. She enjoyed going on vacation to Colorado. D.D. loved to spend time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her father; Johnny Phillips.
D.D. is survived by her husband; Jerry McNeely of Wolfforth, two sons; Joshua McNeely and Austin McNeely, mother; Sammie Phillips of Matador and sister; Debbie Shannon of Roaring Springs.
