Funeral services for Audie Lavell White, age 88, of Oak Grove, Louisiana, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Reverends Dewayne Butler and Andy Myrick will officiate.
Interment will follow in the New Forest Cemetery in Forest, Louisiana.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
He passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at his sons home in Monroe, Louisiana.
Mr. White was a longtime resident of West Carroll Parish. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He farmed for many years. He was the supervisor for the Forest Water System for many years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Billie Jean Butler White; his parents, Audie Jefferson White and Ruth Josephine Sellers White; brother, James White; brother, J. W. White; and sister, Irene Sullivan.
He is survived by his son and his companion, Tony White and Sarena Danna of Monroe, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Natasha White of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter-in-law, Carol White of Oak Grove; granddaughter, Bailey White of Oak Grove; granddaughter, Sara White of Oak Grove; grandson, Tristan White of Oak Grove; grandson, Taylor Stutts of Oak Grove; and brother, Johnny White of Sylacauga, Alabama.
Pallbearers are: Kenny Peacock, Shelby Hughes, Travis Hughes, Scott Mathews, Donny Ray Jones, and Dean Helmer.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 13, 2015 between the hours of 4 to 8 PM at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.
