Tabitha E. “Toby” Bishop Fisher, 95, of Litchfield, died Thurs., Mar. 12, 2015 at 3:56 p.m. in Heritage Health Therapy & Senior Care in Litchfield. She was born on July 23, 1919 in Jonesboro, AR, a daughter of Charles William & Iva (Bingham) Booher. She married Eugene H. Bishop on Jan. 18, 1941 in St. Charles, MO. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 1986. She later married Freeman Keith Fisher on Nov. 14, 1987. He preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 2005. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Litchfield. Over the years she was employed at Brown Shoe Company in Litchfield for 38 years & was an Inspector at Roller Derby Skate Corp. in Litchfield for 13 years. She retired in 1981. In her leisure time she enjoyed camping & visiting with her family & friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; 5 sisters, Alma Leitschuh, Mary Fraley, Hazel Booher, Eunice Bishop & Emma Bishop; 1 brother, Charles “Bud” Booher, Jr.; grandson, Daniel Pass.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held Sun., March 15, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. Dean Jackson, friend of the family, of Litchfield, will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Lawn Cemetery in Litchfield. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
