William Adelmann, 53, of 1702 South 14th street, Manitowoc, died Tuesday
night at Holy Family hospital after a short illness.
Mr. Adelmann was born in 1897 at St. Nazianz and came to Manitowoc when
a young man. An employe of the Rahr Malting company, he married the former
Miss Amelia Meyer in 1917. He was a member of the Holy Name society of St.
Andrew Catholic church, Manitowoc, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at the Pfeffer funeral
home, Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic church, Manitowoc,
Rev. Henry Letz officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery, Manitowoc.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Theodore of Manitowoc; three brothers, George
and Leo, both of Manitowoc, and Lousi of St. Nazianz; three sisters, Mrs. John
Eichenberger of Sheboygan, Mrs. Joe Waltersheim of Valders and Mrs. Louis
Eichenberger of Elkhart Lake, Wis., and two grandchildren. A son, Jerome,
was killed in action in World War II. A daughter died 12 years ago.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, until the
time of services. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
