Clifford Earl Porter, age 74 of Bedford passed away Saturday March 23, 2013 at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital. He was born September 29, 1938 in Greene County to Estol P. Porter and Azie J Michael Porter.
Earl was a graduate of Solsberry High School and spent his professional career in heating and cooling working for nearly 30 years with Commercial Services before retiring from Saben Heating and Cooling. He was a member of Calvary Chapel in Bedford and will be most remembered as a loving husband, father and papaw.
Earl leaves behind his wife Bonita "Bonnie" Carmichael Porter of Bedford; sons Don of Bedford, Ron and wife Robbin of Stanford, Monty of Greene County, Tom and wife Kris of Bloomington. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; a sister Wilma Livingston and her husband Bud of Solsberry and his mother, Azie Michael Porter of Bloomington, and last but not least his beloved shadow, Princess also survives. He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister Beatrice Porter.
