GEORGE ELMER FISHER, retired farmer of near Frederick, died Friday morning at Frederick City Hospital of complications, aged seventy-four years and three months. He had been ill about a week.

He was the son of George and Elmira DeLauter, near Harmony, and is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Lloyd Clark and Mrs. James Hebb, near Hagerstown; Mrs. Lester Beall, this city; three sons, C Luther, Guy R, and E Wilson Fisher, this city; two sisters, Mrs. William Stockman, this city; Mrs. Elmer Summers, New Market; two brothers, Daniel, Mt Pleasant; and Philip, near Hagerstown; 26 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

The body is at the funeral home in Middletown where services will be held Sunday at 2 pm with Rev W V Garrett officiating. Interment in St Johns Cemetery, Church Hill. The Gladhill Company, funeral directors.
