Daniel J. Keefer, 60, Fishers. passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born on August 5, 1954 to J. Edward and Virginia (Colone) Keefer in Fort Wayne, Indiana. His mother preceded him in death.

Daniel received a B.S. degree in Business from Indiana University in 1984. For 23 years, he was a Field Economist for the US Department of Labor. Daniel then worked for the Indiana Division of the Federal Highway Administration, retiring this year. He was a member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church. Daniel was a cherished neighbor and friend, and loved his time with family at their lakehouse, and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by wife, Amy Keefer, who he married on August 3, 1985; father, J. Edward Keefer; sons, Zak (Kelsey) Keefer, and Jake Keefer; daughter, Kelsey Keefer; brothers, Steve (Mary) Keefer, and Kevin Keefer; and sisters, Rebecca (Jerry) Henry, and Amy Keefer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2015, at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Road, in Fishers, with Rev. Patrick Click officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, with a wake beginning at 7:30 pm. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
