At the age of 85 MSGT Thomas Morales, Jr. passed away on March 5, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. He was born May 23, 1929 in Corpus Christi, TX and grew up in McAllen, TX. He started his military career in 1945 at the age of 17 and served during WWII, the Korean and Vietnam Wars. His military accomplishments include serving in the Airborne Division where he parachuted 34 times. He also served as a Communications Satellite Specialist where he was responsible for setting up and maintaining multiple satellites. After retiring from the military he was employed by General Electric as a technician for 15 years. Thomas enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. Services: Visitation will be on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Service will be on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. at Mission San Jose Church 701 E. Pyron Ave. San Antonio, TX 78214 with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
