Mrs. Elson was born in Tipton, Ia., and had been a resident of Greater Kansas City thirty-nine years. She was secretary to the manager of the Memorial Park cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
Mrs. Elson was a member of the Washington Avenue Methodist church, Mendias chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, the White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the auxiliary to the Adams Petersen-Switala post, Veterans of Foreign Wars. She was an associate matron of the Adah court, Order of Amaranth.
Surviving are her husband, Frederick A. Elson of the home; a son, Andrew C. Elson, 1148 Hilltop road; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Long, Beloit, Kas., and a brother, Milton Dickinson, Los Angeles.
Services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday at the Washington Avenue Methodist church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.
